From 11th to 15th September the two trade fairs will have an expo space at the Bavarian expo centre, on the occasion of the world´s leading beverage trade expo.

.Rimini, 28th July 2017 . Beer Attraction confirms its international vocation and, along with BBTech Expo, the latest arrival at chez IEG (Italian Exhibition Group), an expo dedicated to processing and packaging technology for beer and beverages, is about to arrive at Drinktec, the world´s leading expo for the entire beverage product chain, held every four years at the Munich exhibition centre.
A fundamental opportunity for setting up relations with the beverage and liquid food sector´s most important producers, who arrive at Messe München from all over the world, and giving a further boost to the growth of a sector in which Italian know how plays an important role.

Launched three years ago, almost as a wager, to favour the growth of a small but rapidly expanding market such as that of craft beer, in a short time Beer Attraction has become the leader in Italy for the entire craft beer product chain, with an increase in visitors, in 2017, of 42% on 2016 figures. In 2018, IEG is raising the bidding, investing further in technology for beer, beverages and liquid food. This has resulted in BBTech expo, which will occupy two halls at Rimini Expo Centre and be held simultaneously with Beer Attraction from 17th to 20th February 2018.

There will be numerous original contents, thanks to the important partners involved, from Unionbirrai to the Universities of Udine and Perugia. Innovation is the key word, with workshops and great events that will be the distinguishing features of both Beer Attraction and BB Tech expo. The Beer of the Year Award is returning - the beer brewing competition par excellence on the Italian scenario, the event is increasingly a leader and open to internationality. Eager expectation, not only among trade members, to discover the results obtained by the research on the malting of rice and spelt, following the latest experiments. There will also be talk about ´trouble-shooting´ and quality control in the beer production process, and the main guidelines will be provided for the correct management of a microbrewery´s production process.

There has immediately been an excellent response from the companies, many of which are exhibitors at Drinktec, including: Gai (leader for bottling machines), Impiantinox and Spadoni Beer Division (processing technology for breweries), Aetna Group/Robopac (end-of-line packaging technology), Vin Service (beer tapping systems).
